Completed monastic training at Mt. Koya Women's Seminary and transmitted as acharya in the Japanese Shingon lineage in 1988, with ongoing advanced training and study in both Shingon and the Tibetan Drikung Kagyu linage. Have done substantial personal therapeutic work, reading in Buddhist philosophy, psychology and neurobiology and integrate this knowledge into my teaching and writing.
