Initiation into Zen 1989: I took the Bodhisattva vows at the Tosho-ji temple in Tokyo from Master Tetsujyu Soin (Harada Roshi School. It is a Soto School in which one works with the Koan) Mystery of my life: the Master also gave me the vows of a nun. The only explanation, since I never did the training to become a nun is that Sensei knew He would soon die and understood how slow I am to make up my mind! I continued practising with his successor Tetsu-jo Deguchi both in Japan and in Italy during his visits here. (Koan of the Mumonkan and now Hekigan Roku).
